During the last few months we have been very, very busy.
We are now providing around 260 hours of care a week to a range of clients throughout the east of the county, and are planning to expand into the western area.
We had requests to provide a service for adults who were not yet 65 years of age, which is our current limit under our Care Inspectorate registration. The Care Inspectorate has now granted us registration to provide a service to adults ‘with a physical or cognitive impairment’. This does not mean we would be working with adults with learning difficulties or mental health problems, but it does mean we can care for people who are not yet 65.
